Typography

Antonio Canova is regarded as the greatest of the Neoclassical artists, so the typography is intended to evoke the Neoclassical style of the Italian Artist.

Colors

The color palette is in harmony with the colors of the painting (Portrait of Antonio Canova by John Jackson). In particular, Canova used to apply a chemical-composition of patina onto the flesh of the figure to lighten the skin tone and give it a pinkish tone.

So this "skin" color, is one the characteristics of his artistic process as a sculptor.
